Grammy and Academy Award winning singer/songwriter Melissa Etheridge is hitting the road this summer with her Live & Alone tour. Melissa will be performing her greatest hits just by herself…plugged in! The Venue will be the only Chicagoland stop of this tour. Melissa has won many accolades during her career over the past 23 years, including her recent Academy Award for Best Original Song “I Need to Wake Up”, featured in the Al Gore-moderated, Academy Award winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”. Melissa has won the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Award, Juno Award for International Entertainer of the Year and the Gibson Guitar Award for Best Female Rock Guitarist.
