Ha Yu (Wong Shing) was born in Qingdao, Shandong Province. He was initially discovered by Jiang Wen during his semi-autobiographical film, "In the Heat of the Sun." He achieved international fame, including the award for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival, becoming the youngest actor to win that award in the history of the festival.  After his first film, he was accepted into the Central Academy of Drama, the most prestigious acting school in Beijing. In addition to many television roles, his most recent film appearances  have been in the modern Chinese comedy "Waiting Alone" and the Hong Kong action film "Meng Long". In 2008, he received the Best Male Actor Award for his character Gam Tia Jo in the popular TV drama series "Moonlight Resonance."  Ha Yu is joined for this Lunar New Year celebration by the singing twins Sum Sum & Ban Ban.  Join us at Horseshoe Casino as we ring in the Year of the Tiger.
