Great food has always been an important part of the Horseshoe experience. And no restaurant typifies that commitment more than the Village Square Buffet. Lauded in reviews and widely recognized as a “Best Bet” for buffets, this is truly a “Legendary” dining experience.
Focusing on authenticity in preparation and quality ingredients, the food items offered at the seven(7) food stations provide an unparalleled culinary journey. Guests watch skilled chefs quickly prepare and prominently display their favorite food items.
Food selections include International food stations with favorite dishes prepared authentic to country/cooking type.
Italian: Pizza, pasta station, garlic and pizza breads, Chicken Vesuvio, as well as other baked pastas dishes displayed in a merchandising case and served by an interactive culinary attendant.
Latin: Fajitas, Burritos, Guacamole made to order, fresh chips, beans and Carne Asada, Chili Rellenos and Sopas displayed and served by an interactive culinary attendant. These are a few examples along with an array of freshly prepared salsas.
American Heritage: The most prominent station in the buffet provides a central focal point that epitomizes the Horseshoe brand of abundant in not only quantity but also quality and freshness. The classic American fare includes a bountiful meat/carving station, fried chicken, greens, mashed potatoes made with whole butter and heavy cream, macaroni and cheese from scratch, fried catfish, baked beans and of course BBQ.
Asian/China Town: Chinese and Japanese. This station spotlights attention to detail and emphasis on authenticity. Authentic is truly the only way to describe this station. Items include, stir fry, dim sum and noodles.
Seafood Bar: The seafood station features crab legs, hot and cold, craw fish, smoked seafood, herring, a mountain of chilled shrimp as well as seafood stews, chowders, and individual casseroles including shrimp Dijon, baked linguini and shrimp, shrimp scampi and clams.
Soup Salad Bar & Bread: The aroma of freshly baked breads fills the air. At this station, you can “Build your own salad” or have the chef prepare and toss the house specialty. The salad bar offers the freshest available and in season fruits and vegetables as well as a delectable selection of house made compound salads and house made soups including Binion’s famous chili.
Dessert Station: As one of the key focal points, the awe-inspiring dessert extravaganza is visible from outside the buffet, while waiting in the buffet queue and from inside the buffet.
